Paging


Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to find out,"what is being paged and how much is being paged"?

Please anyone get me the answer as soon as possible.

svmon and nmon

do this: man svmon

Also, get nmon for top-like interactive resource usage monitoring(press h for help)...
do this: NMON=mt4 nmon

Since you're running Oracle and seeing large swap usage... your SGA
may be sized too big. Also, you will want at least SWAP=REALRAM*1.25

Remember that is OK to see lots of swap space in use... what isnt good is consistent swapping to/from the swap devices rates (as shown by vmstat).
