A communication gap between the team :-). There was an nmon upgrade done during my time off from work couple of weeks back and the filename had changed from
nmon_aix53 to
nmon12e_aix530. As a result the scheduler was trying to fire a non-existent file.
Nevertheless, as part of the search I could see failures registered in /var/adm/cron/log,
Code:
root : CMD ( /usr/sbin/nmon_aix53 -fdt -s180 -c479 -m /logs/nmon ) : PID ( 1851638 ) : Sun Apr 11 06:00:00 2010
root : CMD ( /home/root/scripts/check_fs.ksh ) : PID ( 1953996 ) : Sun Apr 11 06:00:00 2010
Cron Job with pid: 1851638 Failed
but not specific error as to why the job failed.
Is there any log where this sort of detail gets registered?
