Question AIX 5.2 installation on IBM RS/6000 250 classic(MCA)


Dear friends,

How to install AIXL 5.2 on RS/6000 250 (MCA architecture) machines...
needed the procedure to start the installation.

Very sorry ashrafali, but you can't do this. AIX 5.2 only works on newer RS/6000 and pSeries servers. It doesn't work on any MCA or Prep systems. There is no procedure.

You need AIX 5.1, which will work fine (though, of course, will not be too fast on a 250).
