how to linux install with rs/6000-250

Hello,

im newbe with linux and receive the RS/6000-250 machine and i dont now how Linux i can install to this machine.

My machine have the AIX 4, but dont have the root or Single user password.

your only hope is to crack the root password.

Linux will not run on this due to the MCA bus architecture.

You might be able to find an old AIX copy to reinstall with.

By the way, did you not receive an AIX CD-ROM with your system ?

Doubtful! Those machines had no CDROM drive. A stack of floppies would be more likely.

So, this means that you must borrow a CD-ROM drive and plug it on a SCSI board, or go to a site where there is an AIX Nim Ethernet installation server.
