Is it possible to 4M as a persistent installation from a USB drive

I was impressed that 4MLinux booted up though my mini-pc is very picky about EFI.
Unfortunately I cannot install too much on the PC's integrated SD-drive. Can I run 4MLinux as a persistent installation from the USB drive?

That was discussed earlier somewhere in this forum. Unfortunately, no "persistence installation" support in 4MLinux.
