The following dependency i got while typing the following

libssl.so.5 => not found
libpthread.so.0 => /lib/libpthread.so.0 (0x21029000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x21043000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x01001000)
root@pcbsd-2369#


libssl.so.7 is present in /compat/linux/lib but the dependency is about libssl.so.5 which is not present in the /compat/linux/lib. PCBSD will need that to installed to get sound output for youtube videos. How to install libssl.so.5 in pcbsd to get a permanent solution to the problem


how to make it deliver sound for the flash videos
what will be command for the same in case of a symlink please help me

Try creating a symbolic link as a workaround. From the command line, do the following:

$ cd /compat/linux/lib
$ ln -s libssl.so.7 libssl.so.5

(Don't type the dollar sign, though)
