How set x-manager on BSD machine

Hi everybody
Few days ago I installed FreeBSD 5.4 and it was ok
But i don know how to set x manager ----gnome, wm, kde or else, I used Debian before and i am not familiar with UNIX commands, so I am asking you who knows to direct me.
Is there any specialized manual for setting x manager on BSD machines, I will use BSD as desktop machine, I know there is easier Unix /Linux for this purpose but I want to try this one.

Thank you
Regards
Sarajevo
