Exim problem...

I am running FreeBSD 4.9 with exim. I have a massive amount of frozen messages on the queue. I have been trying to do research on how to get these cleared off but can not find anything specific. The frozen messages have the <> in the description of the message, so I know they are bounce messages. In the config file, I have the following 2 lines:

ignore_bounce_errors_after = 6h
and
timeout_frozen_after = 1d

I did some research and found somewhere that said to add this line:

ignore_errmsg_errors_after = 24h
But this doesn't appear to be a valid option or command. Some messages have been there for 46 hours+, and are just clogging things up. I have recently added a new server that acts as a spam filtering gateway, and may take that down (the server with the problem also does spam filtering by itself), to make sure that there isn't a routing issue problem. The spam filtering server is FreeBSD 4.11 with SpamAssassin, with Exim. Let me know any suggestions you may have.

Thanks
