/var/log/packages

Hello! Im new here. New to Linux as well. I just wanted to ask a question about the /var/log/packages directory in Vector SOHO. My question is......

This is just a list of the packages that went in from my initial install, right?

Not familiar with Vector but since it is a Slackware offshoot, yes, the files in /var/log/packages are what has been installed.

Never delete 'em though or you'll hose your upgrade ability. (If vector works the same way Slack does and perusing through vector's website docs it seems to be the case).
