samba configure
hi, i install vector in 3 old computers, but i need to configure the samba server to can share file on a windows network. Some one can help me to configure this server.
#rpm -ivh samba*
#vi /etc/samba/smb.conf
(copy the last 8 line & uncomment it & read the instructions)
#useradd juan
#smbpasswd juan
(give smb passwd)
#service smb restart
#chkconfig smb on
#service iptables stop
(Now in window you can set the IP-add & verify it is running)
