help me configure my samba


can anybody help me configure my samba server?? i started it and just made a print server. this is my first time using a samba for my network printer. i got it running and browsable on the windows network neighborhood. my problem is that when i print something on a windows machine it prompted me a password. i dont remember putting a password on my samba. how could i get rid of the password so that anybody could print immidately on the print server????

Look for a line in smb.conf security = user
change user to share. resart samba

tnx very much dude!! i got another problem. i cant print any pictures only simple text even the text on the word art of microsoft word can't be printed out. what will i do?? whats wrong??

I dont have any experiance with the printing side of samba, sry
I just use it for serving files. What kind of printer is it? Maybe I can find some info on it reguarding samba.

im sharing the EPSON LX300 for document printing. printing ordiary text works fine. but printing a ordianary text mixed with word art, it doesnt seem to print the word art. my officemates are using microsoft word.
