ubuntu gone after mandriva install

Hi, i used to have ubuntu on my 160 gig hdd and winxp on a 80 gig hdd and i had the choice of booting either at start up with grub. The 160 g drive was the primary hdd, but after partitioning the 80 g hdd and installing 'mandriva spring' on the winxp drive the option of booting ubuntu from the 160 gig drive is gone. I want to get back to a situation where the grub allows me to boot ubuntu because i had it set up really nicely and don't want to reinstall ubuntu. Is there anyway i can get my computer to do this? thanks in anticipation, regards, Rob.

Alt & F2 type mcc click run, enter your root password and press enter. Go to Boot--> Set up how the system boots--> Bootloader to use, drop the box and choose from Grub with graphical menu, Grub with text menu or Lilo with text menu.
