TV card modules problem

I try configure a TV card and I execute a script, but the output is
Code:
ERROR: Module bt878 does not exist in /proc/modules
ERROR: Module bttv does not exist in /proc/modules
My question is why I don't have this modules? How can I get it?

What that error means is that the module isn't loaded, not that you don't have it.
To make sure you have it you can run
Code:
sudo find /lib/modules/`uname -r` -name "bttv*"
and you should see "/lib/modules/2.6.15-26-686/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.ko"
if you want to load the modules at boot then add "bttv" to /etc/modules and make a file called "/etc/modprobe.d/tv_card" and add
Code:
options bttv card=37 tuner=2 radio=1"

Now when I execute the script the output is
Quote:
ERROR: Module bttv does not exist in /proc/modules
binary_y2k2
You told me to put in /etc/modprob.d/tv_card
Quote:
options bttv card=37 tuner=2 radio=1"
My question is: the command finish with commas (")?

when I do "dmesg|grep bttv" the outup was
Quote:
[17179660.376000] bttv: driver version 0.9.16 loaded
[17179660.376000] bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (520 pages) each for capture
[17179676.520000] bttv: driver version 0.9.16 loaded
[17179676.520000] bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (520 pages) each for capture
I think that the bttv module is loaded.
But my problem now is load bt878 module on boot. How can I do that?

I solved the problem of load bt878 on boot. I put bt878 in /etc/modules.
My problem now is when I start TVtime appears the message:
Quote:
No such file or directory /dev/vide0
This means that ubuntu don't recognizes my usb tv-card. What can I do now?
