Angry Small problem with Xawtv

Hi all,
When using xawtv in ubuntu 10.04, the default mode is NTSC. How do I change the default mode to PAL so that i don't have to keep changing it from NTSC as I restart xawtv.

Can someone please help me resolve this.

Hi David the H,
Thx for a very fast response, and also thanx for the....

I did a man for xawtvrc. The man page exist and it explains a lot of things.
But I don't see /etc/X11/xawtvrc or $HOME/.xawtv on my system.
Is there any othr way of configuring xawtv?

Thanx.

If a configuration file doesn't exist, then you generally just need to create one using any standard text editor.

Also, the config files in your home directory are nearly always hidden files. Any file name that begins with a . (period) will not be displayed by default. Your gui file browser will have an option to show hidden files, and "ls -a" will show you them in the shell.

Finally, the man page I gave mentions the program scantv, which is designed to help automate the process.
