Hello all,

This is my first post here, and I am a newbie to Linux (long time Windows user) I have used Knoppix 5.1.1 for disc recovery/troubleshooting, but never gone into depth with it. So far, I really like what I see with the KDE desktop, and am learning how to do more from the command line rather than relying on the GUI all the time.

My question: anyone have links to good ftp repositories (North America) for Feisty? I was using ftp.virginmedia.com, but a lot of what I want to toy around with isn't there. I would use http, but we got it locked down where I work.

I appreciate the help, and am glad to have finally gotten off my arse and started really learning Linux.
