http://linuxsilo.net/docs/smart-questions_en.html

And you say i copy file from link is true. But i try do simulate it and study it, i can not do

it because i ask everyone on the forum.

# 16, @ rosy84.
Well, nobody can provide a solution for unknown errors.
That's why you are asked to describe some details.

Installing usually goes like this : Assume ns-allinone-2.29.3.tar.gz :
cd ns-allinone-2.29/ && ln -s ns-2.29/ ns-2.29_bittorrent &&
patch -p0 < bittorrent.patch && cd tk8.4.11/ &&
wget ftp://ftp.swin.edu.au/gentoo-portage...astevent.patch
&& patch -p0 < tk-8.4-lastevent.patch && cd ../ &&
export CC=gcc-3.4 CXX=g++-3.4 && ./install

cd ns-2.29/

./ns cbrgen_star.tcl -type cbr -nn 10 -seed 1 -mc 10 -rate 10.0 : OK.

./ns bt_flashcrowd_star.tcl 10 1 1000 : OK too ...

# 26, @ lucky89. Still Ubuntu 11.10 ? ?

No old Ubuntu compilers can be used in Ubuntu 11.04, 11.10, ( 12.04 ).
Please read post #14 here about a gcc-41-compat for 11.10 ..
