Exclamation Kubutu 9.10, give me a clue on how to use it.

I want to access menus like Ubuntu 9.10 can, i.e. Applications, Places & System. I want to use FF and Komposer or any other useful features of Edubuntu 9.10, besides widgets.

To be honest, you should just use regular ubuntu. There are LOOOOADS of educational programs on here for free. I use a lot of them to be honest.

In the bottom left corner is the Kickoff Application Launcher and QuickAccess Browser.
