Kodak C310 Digital Camera Not Working (KDE)

Basically, I've been trying to get this camera to work with Kubuntu with no success whatsoever. Plugging it in with the camera powered on brings up the usual "what do I do with this?" screen, but selecting "Open in New Window" (the only option besides "Do Nothing") brings up a Konqueror window with nothing in it, despite the fact that the camera definitely has a lot of files on it. Also, I tried to manually mount the camera with no success - I have no idea what block device to mount it with. Tried /dev/sdb with no luck, and I couldn't find information on any other devices it would be on. I'm assuming this means it's not detecting properly. Anyone able to offer any help as to why it's not working and how I can fix it?

(P.S: GTKam, the only alternative I could think of, was no help - I tried to use some Kodak drivers similar to C310, but those didn't work either)

Naturally, help is appreciated, thanks.

To see if it is seen type the command ' dmesg ' to see the output after plugging the camera. To see which block devive it is using if it is fully registered is type the command as root ' /sbin/fdisk -l '. Also you can get some info from ' cat /proc/scsi/scsi '.
