How to disable "Recently Used" on UBUNTU 11.10


Hello, everyone . I am new to ubuntu 11.10 . I need your help. How can I totally disable "Recently Used" and smplayer play history. It's "Recently Used" not "Recently Documents". Thanks in advance.

I might be able to help with SMPlayer but not recently used.

IN SMPlayers go to preferences and under interface set your recent file list to zero. Then Under Playlist in SMPlayer turn off Automatically add files to playlist.
