How do I change the font for yast and/or sax2? The default font on my SUSE 10.2 installation is too small. I know how to change the fonts in Gnome, which I have done, but yast and sax2 have fonts which I can barely read.
You have to use the configuration utility for your window manager. If you are using KDE then the configuration utility is called kcontrol. You can run it by typing kcontrol at a command prompt in a terminal emulator window. If you are using Gnome then you can select fonts by running gnome-control-center. (I think that's what the executable is named.)
Some applications will use either the KDE or Gnome fonts regardless of what window manager you are running. I don't know if this is true of YaST or SaX2, but one example is Firefox. If you are running KDE and you want to change the font of the menu bar in Firefox then you have to run gnome-control-center and change the font size for the appropriate font in that utility. I thought I'd mention it so that if you don't succeed changing the fonts by using the configuration tool for your window manager you might try using the configuration tool for the other window manager.
