Trying to configure kweather applet to no avail

Hi.

I'm trying to configure the KDE applet called kweather but everytime I try I cannot enter anything into the location: field.
Anyone know a work around for this?
Thanks.

Richard

What KDE ver are we talking about? Ok, so you are at the configuration window of Kweather, theres Display and Weather services. At Display theres a list of locations, this list shows up any weather services selected at Weather services. You need to select some (or just the one you want) from the available list to the selected list. Then you click on update. Then you go to the location list at Display and select the one you want. And thats that.

mebrelith: I'm using kde 3.4.2 I've done all you described and added my local town from the list of Weather Service entries. However, when I go to the Display area there is no place to enter the Weather Station Options. I know this works in other distros but for some reason it doesn't in SUSE 10.

Hrmmm... for some weird bug that Ive seen since 3.4 you need to add more than one station to your list like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/77083971%40N00/74191839/ then you have to remove the applet then add it again and if you are really lucky you'll get your list of cities like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/77083971%40N00/74191799/

Hope this works.
