kernel headers not avail via apt-get

i need the kernel header files, but they dont seem avail for my kernel (i'm using 2.4.21-2-k7)
can i install one that's close? (2.4.21-2)
is there a place to get/compile your own kernel headers?

while we're at it, i'm trying to configure some dock apps and i get the error that my compilier cannot make executables... so i'm trying to reinstall any relevant packages...
any suggestions.?

many thanks...
