Troublesome fstab entry in opensuse 10.2
I'm expanding my setup to include a network attached hard drive so I can access resources from either my laptop or my sparkling open suse linux box (installed just this morning with openSuse 10.2).
I can mount the network drive and access the files on it but I'd like to have the drive mounted at startup for all users.
The following command mounts the drive and gives me access to the files (at least, running as root it does...)
mount -t cifs "//192.168.2.7/DISK 1" /mnt/starone
But I think the share name "DISK 1" may be giving me problems when I try to add the mount to the /etc/fstab file.
/dev/hda2 / ext3 acl,user_xattr 1 1
/dev/hda3 /home ext3 acl,user_xattr 1 2
/dev/hda1 swap swap defaults 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs noauto 0 0
debugfs /sys/kernel/debug debugfs noauto 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
"//192.168.2.7/DISK 1" /mnt/starone cifs noauto 0 0
I've included my full fstab file above.
It fails if I leave out the "DISK 1" share name and it fails if I leave it in...
Can anyone suggest a way to get this working?
Thanks,
Mark
