Please explain what you have done in detail! The only explanation I have is that you seriously messed up menu.lst when you attempted to edit the file. Please post your menu.lst.

The instructions in the link will not affect anything else than how Windows is loaded (if applied properly).

Hmm, I don't see that you have changed something according to the link I gave you. This seems to be the original menu.lst (which will not work if Windows is on a second HDD, because Windows always wants to be on the first HDD in your system).

So again: What have you done?

hermm..i have done nothing.i have reinstall back and same thing happen.got tired ready with this such thing.never mind i will try to install both system in the same harddisk.

So if you have done nothing, what do you refer to in above post?

It is not necessary to install both systems on the same disk. Simply follow the instructions SUSE provided and everything will be fine.
