Question SUSE 9.3 Screen Capture options?

Good Afternoon Staff/readers,

I often use "MWSnap," a screen capture utility with optional user-selected image margins in Windows XP; this lets me save a portion (or all) of a PC screen image to the hard drive without using a printer.
Can anyone recommend a similar reliable screen capture utility for SUSE 9.3 or 10.0 download?

Sincerely,
langbein

In SUSE 9.3 I use KSnapshot which can be found in KMenu >Utilities>Desktop>KSnapshot.

Enjoy.

Thumbs up SUSE 9.3 Screen Capture options?

Thank you, ionmich for your screen capture help.

K Menu/Utilities/Desktop/KSnapshot is everything I hoped for ! Just waiting for someone like you to show a Newbie faced with a big black box where to look and what to look for. Took a few failed minutes, but the Ksnapshot guide book was a big help.
So far tho the guide book suggestion to use the following command on the command line:
< % ksnapshot & > (note: <> are just my separation flags and not part of the command) ......
does not create a recognizable KSnapshot window; have you ever used this command or something different?

Returned to the Run Command line window and simply entered the application name: < KSnapshot > When I hit enter this "command" opened KSnapshot immediately! Perhaps this result is distro specific: Only SuSE 9.3 will allow the application name to open KSnapshot. Other distros might experiment and let this thread know the results.

Feliz Navidad,
langbein
