Exclamation

I've read that Aircrack has a forum of its own, though I do not have the URL handy. If you locate the Aircrack forum using Google, surely there will be information and hints as to which drivers are supported, whether or not madwifi is needed, and similar stuff.

We (members of LQ) cannot help you use Aircrack to access secured OR unsecured wireless networks, even if you claim that you are cracking against your own equipment. Please see the LQ Rules.

As I have done in other threads about Aircrack, which you can locate using the Search function atop this page, I will refer you to Google for further help with cracking the secured network. LQ does not condone such activity.

If you need help with a USB modem or modem driver, please start a new thread if there is not already a suitable thread about the modem that addresses the problem you are having.

Thanks,
Sasha

Hi,

sounds like you have a number of issues that you need help with.

No operating system can do *everything* and get it all right every time, but with a bit of patience, and some well-thought-out questions about the exact problems you are having, we will be happy to help you get your Linux machine running circles around the competition.

Now, your last post made no sense, so why not break the problem(s) into manageable items, and post in a clear fashion about A) what you want to do, and B) how you are trying to do it, and C) what happens, including error messages and that sort of thing.

We will do our best to help if we can.

I often come up post my problems and be keen for all these steps
, and I do not mean the forum regarding the problems.
but for those responsible for developing linux systems i mean not find this issues with Windows for example, such problems usb drives is not supported, or some of the chips/drivers were not supported by the kernal , this is very difficult for novice to double the evolve rapidly because of these constraints, I have developed rapidly in my former experience "Windows" and all my mind was focused exclusively on my effort to handle my ready tools

will soon as possible i will put my problem with speed touch 330 and i hope that you will be here while to try solve it

iam sorry if i use tough language actually i am using google for translate,
my english is weak

thanks

Hi again,

Your English may be weak, but that's OK, you are doing not too bad with the translator, and you seem to be understanding what I am saying, so just be patient, you will do fine besides, if you keep reading around here, you will pick up more English in time.

Hyperlinks are disabled for a members first post, but after your initial post, and it is determined that the new member is not a spam-bot, you can post hyperlinks (as long as they are not linked to anything nasty or illegal or otherwise in violation of LQ's forum rules).

Always remember: Linux is NOT Windows. Now, this does not necessarily mean that it is more difficult to learn, but unfortunately, many/most of us come from a Windows environment, and everything we know and are familiar with is from using Windows. True, it would be *easier* to learn Linux if we did not feel the need to *un-learn* Windows, but it helps to have a mindset that Linux is not like Windows. Think of it like starting fresh; try to not compare the two, or it can make you frustrated.

I understand that sometimes driver and hardware support can be tricky under Linux; this is because the people who make the hardware and often the drivers, work closely with Microsoft to make sure that the hardware *definitely* works with Windows. Linux does not as often get this same consideration, and therefore it takes longer for the Linux programmers to get a working driver for some hardware.

Be patient, and determined, and try to remember not to resort to a "Windows does this why won't Linux" attitude, as it will frustrate you.

Best of success,

Sasha
