Suse 10.1 information plz

Hello to everyone

My suse 10.1 is going pretty slow when i use kde,,
When i open firefox inside kde everything goes so slowly.
It needs more than 4-5 mins to switch tab to firefox or click a button. I think thats a suse;s specific problem..
Mu compu is
is Celeron 2000Mhx
1gb SDRAM 133 Mhz
!30 gb hard-disk
