Another prob with RC1 -- typing in //localhost:931 in a browser doesn't give me the web cups interface any more --get message Not Found on this server ???

CUPS and Samba have been installed.


'Fraid that's my FINAL FINAL look at RC 1

Why when Beta 4 seems to work fairly flawlessly why what would normally be a small update to the Release candidtaes does everything start going totally Pear shaped.

This RC1 must be the most UNFRIENDLY Laptop version for AGES.

Funny thing is running on a Desktop without having to connect to Windows etc it works nice and snappily

However in the REAL world Network connectivity and Windows shares are a necessiti --even if we don't like them.

I'm now back to 9.3 on ALL my machines --can't spend any more time on this.

Still got the SAMBA share on 9.3 only showing a partial directory listing for Windows shares --but it DOES work.
