problems after upgrading to kde 3.5.3 with usb dev

I recently upgraded to kde 3.5.3.After upgrading, when i plug any usb devices such us flash disk or ipod, all devices
in konqueror window(hard diks, floppy) seem to be unmounted and cannot acces them. There is also no ipod or flash disk icon on konqueror window. As a result i can acces none of this devices.I have to reboot my system(or ctrl+alt+backspace) in order to make them work again(usb devices never work though)
