Newbie Question : Start Menu

Is SUSE's "start menu" the same as that of Windows?

e.g. for windows,
a. there is a folder which stores all the shortcuts that makes up the start menu.
b. just add/remove a new item into the start menu by adding/removing shortcuts.

Any comments?

To edit the menu right click on it and then click on "menu editor". You can probably figure out the basics of the editor from there.

Mic Q,

The KDE menu is highly editable, like the previous post mentioned. As you keep adding apps -- which might not show up in the menu -- you might want to look @ the KAppfinder app.
