Gnome "Start Menu" configuration question
I'm new to Gnome (being a fan of KDE), and don't know how to configure many aspects of the interface.
Before I get too far, let me mention I'm currently running SUSE 9.2 Professional (Gnome 2.6).
When I click on the Gnome "Foot" (or the red "N" with SUSE 9.2), I get the panel menu. This menu has very large icons (tall menu entries). I want them small... like 22x22 or smaller.
In KDE, I edit ~/.kde/config/kickerrc and change the value to whatever I want (I prefer 16x16 in KDE). I tried right-clicking on the panel and selecting properties, but unfortunately, those settings only affect the panel itself, not the panel menu.
Anyway, is there a way to change this? Or am I out of luck? I'm running this on a laptop where screen size is limited and space is at a premium.
Thanks

How about disabling the icon show part? Then there would just be text.

I just want the icons smaller. My laptop is running at 1024x768, and the menus, at that resolution, are too big
