Rep:
laptop touchpad switch
I have suse 12.2 on a laptop HP635.
I need to switch of the touchpad because it effects my typing and is a nuisance. It had originally windoze 7 which allowed for switching off by a little mark on the touchpad.
I use a wireless mouse instead of the touchpad.
Is there anything in suse that can switch off the touch pad?
Thanks for your help
It's a shot in the dark, I have an Asus with a function key that will turn off the touchpad. The symbol on the key looks like a rectangle with a line into it; it supposed to look like a finger on the touchpad, but you'd never figure it out if you didn't already know what it meant.
