Installing mercury.bin strange error


I have downloaded mercury (chat software) with extension .bin

when i tried to install it using the command sh and here is what I got:

and the installation stops !!!

I am using Suse9.1 with KDE 3.2
so any ideas ?

I solved the issue

i logged in as normal user (not as root) and it worked fine !!
