Hello one and all
I am a computer engineer for a small PC repair company used to mainly windows system's and so am like a fish out of water with linux.

What i want is a server that connects to a router with one LAN card and then my workshop network on a second LAN card. I want it to proxy, DHCP and run a web page with things like SP2 for XP on there.

So fare iv been able to install openSUSE 10.2 64-bit though the internet and so know that the internet connection works. I have also enabled DHCP on the seccond LAN card which works fine too. My problem is i cant get the computers on the workshop side to connect to the WEB though the SUSE box. And i have no idear what im doing wrong (or missing out for that matter).

If any one could ether spair some time to help or point me in the right direction help page wise it would be greatly appreciated

look in;
/etc/sysconfig/Susefirewall2
I don't use suse but this may get you started.
You will need NAT (a.k.a. IP-masquerading)
I think suse should be the same;
/proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward will need to be 1 to tell the kernel that ip forwarding is OK
