In the default install of SUSE Linux 10.0, there is a menu with the words "Applications," "Places," and "Desktop" at the top of the screen. I know that I can customize the applications that are listed (which is something that I don't need to do), but can I customize the other items listed in the menu? I need to delete the unnessisary items like "Run Application...," "Preferences," "Lock Screen," "Take Screenshot...," and rearrange some of the remaining items.
After changing the menus with this program, does SUSE still automatically add new applications to the menus when it installs new applications? I want to keep the nice directory structure for applications that SUSE generates.

It should do. All you are doing is adding entries local to you, so any apps with global menu entries will still show up fine in the Suse menu.
I can't seem to get the dependancies installed. (Well, I gave up after the tree expanded to requiring about 20 different packages that are not included in my distribution) Does anyone know if there is a directory or file that contains this information so that it can be edited by hand?
