can only starx as root


I am running 9.2 as a server and the bootup stops at runlevel 3 wich is cool. I cannot hower do a startx as any user other than root. root brings X up fine but any other user just hangs after startx is executed.

Any ideas where to start fault finding?

Make sure the user's home directory is not full.

Make sure the /tmp directory is not full.
