Can't browse hard disc in gnome

When I click on my hard drive icon in Gnome I get the following error message:

Can't Display Location
Couldn't display "drives:///hdd2.desktop".
Nautilus has no installed viewer capable of displaying the file.

The only way for me to browse my hard drive other than my home folder is to open up a terminal. Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this problem? Thanks.

Its weird

It is weird. I still can't fix it and I can't access any of my files on /usr /bin /etc and such. One thing I do remember was that the first time I clicked on it, it asked me if I would like to associate an application with my hard drive icon/link. That didn't make sense to me because its just a gui link to my hard drive. It should just open. I shouldn't have to associate an application with it. Its weird.

Well today I was able to get most of my work done without being able to look into my hard drive. A couple of times I needed to access some files that weren't in my home directory so I just opened up a terminal and used the mv command to move some files but It would be nice if I could do that from the gui as I am kind of a noob at linux commands. Anyway, If anyone thinks they might know whats causing this please let me know. Thanks.

Yep, konqueror works. Muchos gracias. Nautilus only wants to open my home folder but I'm well on my way. Thanks!
