Hello I am trying to install Suse 9.2 Pro (Retail Boxed) on a Dell Dimension 4500s. The problem is when I first start the install the load screen is..well hard to descibe.. but in almost total black. I cannot see the options. It's like an X-Ray. I do not believe it likes the LCD Display? I had problems with other Distro's also. It has an Intel 845 Chipset. P4 2.0. onboard sound onboard video. LCD Display is from Dell (Coretronic LCD). (FC3 did not like the display either {the screen was fuzzy, distroted} and also had no Sound.) I dont know if this is a problem with the onboard video chipset or a problem with the Coretronic LCD display?
This computer also has Windows installed.

Try choosing an option other than default for your monitor or text mode for the install.

Yes I tried that one already. My problem starts as soon as Suse starts to load. I guess my LCD is not recognized at all. It does work with my old crt monitor. I tried that out today but I want my LCD to work. The generic LCD setting do not work either.
