[SOLVED] Import Google contacts into kaddressbook/Kontact opensuse 13.2

Hi Susers,

I would like to be able to sync by kaddressbook with my Google contacts. Kaddressbook handily has an import option for this on the menu, but when I click it there's no dialogue and no apparent way to configure my Google account details. Any ideas?

akonadi version 4.14.2-1.1 (runtime version 1.13.0-2.2.3)
Ditto kaddressbook and kontact versions.

I had disabled the kwallet system. Enabling this then allows the config dialogue to show following selecting the gmail contact import.
