I'm wondering if there is anyone here who has completed the certification, and if so are there any good texts they could recommend? I already have the docs from Sun.

I've obviously had a look on amazon and Sun's site, but I'd like some opinions from someone here who's used the texts and taken the exams. I'm not 100% sure if I should go for Solaris 9 or 10. 10 seems the obvious choice given it's the newest version so obviously has the longest life, but I'm not sure.

I'd also be interested to know if it was useful from a job perspective and a learning perspective.

This seems like the best place to ask, given it's a Solaris specific section, rather than the Linux Certs section.

I used Bushnell's book for the SCNA. I forget which I used for the SCSA. Overall I thought the certs were pretty easy. You can get a list of test objectives at suned.sun.com and then lookup whatever you don't already know on docs.sun.com.
