Had a 30% off coupon for Borders and decided to use it on the $59.99 "Exam Prep"(TM) for Solaris 10 System Administration (exams CX-310-200 and CX-310-202).
I don't know how or why exactly, but seems like my *nix knowledge has finally reached some sort of critical mass -- you know, when piping the cat of a config file to grep suddenly seems like the "easy way" to find that troublesome parameter -- and I think I could actually make it through this one with a little self-study. RHCT doesn't sound too hard either at the moment. Might even add a CEH to my resume...
Anyway, cert day dreaming aside, I haven't heard too much about SCSA before. All the Sun certified peeps I know are Java developers. Just thought it would be really neat to have and set me apart a little (more) from the crowd.
The book is over a 1000 pages though, so I guess in addition to exam cost I better budget a few hundred for shots of espresso to keep me awake.
