solaris 2.7 stuck in booting
I have a solaris 7 machine that is stuck in the boot process. It brings up hme0 but hme1 it does not. It gets stuck in setting up the netmask for hme1. and basically stops there. Any ideas for this one?

Bad configuration or conflict? Has it worked before or a new setup?

it was working for about 3 months with no problems. Someone in the datacenter rebooted the machine and now we have the problem.

Not totally sure, anyone change anything from the original configuration, like if it wasn't permanent and now its trying to configure from the original files? Could be bad hardware as well?
I'd try pulling then adding back to reconfigure, etc if I was in this situation. At least to test if you can boot fully with hme0, etc.

Try booting into single user mode, and then verify hardware functionality by manually enabling one interface at a time. Does it completely refuse to boot up or does it just hang 3-5 mins like its waiting for something to resolve?

it just hangs, I suppose its waiting for something. But, I cannot input anything. Its very bizare. I am assuming noone has changed anything, so it should technically be working.
