Solaris 10 Config

Hello,

today I installed Solaris 10 on my Desktop ...
I'm surprised that there is no configuration tool with it.

I'm looking for something like yast2 ... .

Does anyone know how to configure Solaris
(create Users; setting the uid and gid; the type of console etc.)
?

Regards

Try smc (Solaris Management Console)
http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/817-1985/

load your root (java/gnome or cde) and click up the console window. type in from the ~#: smc &
when it finishes loading, then go to whatever your love is. for users, click the configure on the left panel, then the users icon on the right, then action on the menu---then template or the wizard

Maybe try to edit your /etc/hostname.XX (where XX is the net interface name)
