Smile I need to replace disk in RAID 5 in Solaris 10 SVM


Hi,

Can any one help me how I cam replace Disk in solaris RAID 5 in svm. RAID 5 is with 3 Disks.
Below is output of RAID 5 status

I want to c0t4d0 with c0t6d0, c0t4d0 has some HW erros.
How can I do ?

Did you mean you want to replace with target 7? It looks like target 6 is already a member of the array. I think you want to use metareplace d5 c0t4d0s0 c0t7d0s0.. Check out the man page for metareplace for more.

Target 6 is not part of array, is it fine if I do metareplace, coz RAID is with 3 disks only
