How to install and configure veritas volume manager in vmware based solaris 10
Hello,
I want some step by step instructions and guidelines for installing veritas volume manager on solaris 10 in a vmware enviornment.Please provide the required help as i am a newbie in solaris
Installing veritas volume manager is easy. All you have to do is run "installvm" or "installer"
If you want to, install via pkgadd VRTSvlic and VRTSvxvm and then run vxinstall (for 4.1)
However, I have never tried this in VMware. Don't know if it is supported. That is up to you to find out.
