Very good.
In /etc/lilo.conf the first image listed is the default.
If you don't want to move your Windows lines above your Linux lines,
you could add "default=Windows" somewhere in /etc/lilo.conf, such as:
Code:
mingdao@silas:~/Deposits$ cat /etc/lilo.conf
# LILO configuration file
# generated by 'liloconfig'
#
# Start LILO global section
boot = /dev/sda
compact # faster, but won't work on all systems.
default=WinXP <--- this line
prompt
timeout = 50
# VESA framebuffer console @ 1024x768x256
vga = 773
# End LILO global section
# Linux bootable partition config begins
image = /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.17.8
root = /dev/sda6
label = Slack-2.6.17.8
read-only
image = /boot/vmlinuz
root = /dev/sda6
label = Slack-2.4.32
read-only # Non-UMSDOS filesystems should be mounted read-only for checking
# Linux bootable partition config ends
# Windows bootable partition config begins
other = /dev/sda1
label = WinXP
# map-drive = 0x80
# to = 0x81
# map-drive = 0x81
# to = 0x80
table = /dev/sda
# Windows bootable partition config ends
Where WinXP is the name of the label you want to boot as the default.
