I was looking at the usb boot faq from Alien Bob's wiki:
http://alien.slackbook.org/dokuwiki/...20hard%20drive
If you look down the part I need is the part that ends with the two yello "fix me" signs. )=
So, I am assuming that the installer just needs the trees: ( /a /ap /x /kde, etc. ) So I should just be able to copy these to a flash drive and then run the setup program, correct?
Could I just take the bare minimum of these trees, just enough to boot me into a slackware command line, transfer the rest by usb later, and run installpkg, and end up with the same basic working system, right?
I am guessing I would need /a, /ap, and perhaps /x and then install the rest later, right?
Will I just need those two/three ( or more?) trees, reboot into slackware, and then install the rest?
