GRUB Error 17

Hi,
after a slackware 10.2 install when i try to boot it returns GRUB Error 17.
What does that mean?

Slackware uses lilo so you obviously have a grub install from some other distro.
Is Slack now your only system, or do you dual-boot or triple-boot ... ?

This error is typicaly caused by not installing lilo to the mbr.

10x to everyone,i installed lilo in the mbr and it all works just fine now.
