Wireless

In Slackware 12 using "madwifi" each time I want to connect,
I must type as root "dhcpcd ath0"

It works fine until I remove the card or restart the laptop.

What have I missed??

Thanks
digger

Hi
Quick solution is to put dhcpcd ath0 into rc.local, but that will help only with restarting.

Check your configs and post more info of your config files and what type of wireless connection are you using
Check this, might be helpful

Got It

Added this to the bottom of;
/etc/rc.d/rcinet1.conf

WLAN_WPA[1]="wpa_supplicant"
WLAN_WPADRIVER[1]="madwifi"

Working Great

Thank You
