You're serious when you say you will install Darwin ?
Yeah, whats wrong with that?

Also Solaris install will overwrite the MBR, there's no way
to avoid that, you will have to re-install lilo from Linux
bootable CD.
Will LILO detect Solaris?

Moreover, can you name a Linux bootable CD, that has LILO in it?
There are many out there who have GRUB.

Slackware CD1 or CD2 should be fine to
boot with it and re-install lilo

Darwin port on x86 is very experimental

I don't know if lilo has autodetect feature,
I use grub and installed solaris once, I had
to re-install grub (I booted from slackware
2nd CD, mounted the boot partition in order
to change grub.conf, then I mounted the
root partition chroot to it and re-installed
grub)

When I first installed Darwin, I wasn't able to get the GUI to boot up.
I was really stuck up at that time.
Now, I got a hint on that.

Thanks for the idea of using Slackware CDs. I think that I can use the Woody Cds too.

But, no problem. Thanks for the help.

I am currently reading some LILO tutorials.
They are teaching me the inside out of LILO.
